Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Artem Udovichenko (“Remeal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use remeal.ai and join the Remeal waitlist.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for your personal data is:

Artem Udovichenko

Email: admin@remeal.ai

2. What data we collect

When you join the waitlist, we currently collect and process the following personal data:

your email address;

your IP address, which is added on the backend as part of the request flow;

a record that the required consent checkbox was accepted before submission.

At this stage, the quiz answers shown before the waitlist signup screen are used for the user flow and profile summary experience, but they are not currently stored together with the waitlist signup in the database based on the information currently provided to us.

3. How we collect data

Your personal data is collected when you voluntarily enter your email address on the waitlist signup screen and submit the form.

The current technical data flow is: website frontend → project backend → internal API → MongoDB database.

4. Purpose of processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

to register your interest in the Remeal product;

to maintain and manage the waitlist;

to contact you about the launch of Remeal and related early access offers, where you have provided the required consent;

to operate, secure, and technically maintain the website and waitlist flow;

to handle deletion or access requests relating to your waitlist data.

5. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under applicable data protection law:

Consent: for sending launch updates and early access communications after you actively agree to receive them.

Legitimate interests: for operating, securing, and administering the website and the waitlist infrastructure, including technical processing of request-related data such as IP address.

6. Where your data is stored

The website infrastructure and database are currently hosted in Europe using Hetzner. Waitlist data is stored in a MongoDB database running on infrastructure hosted through Hetzner in Europe.

7. Data sharing and recipients

We do not sell your personal data.

Your data may be processed by service providers and infrastructure providers that help us operate the website and waitlist, including hosting and database infrastructure providers.

At the time of this version, the website infrastructure and data storage referenced above are hosted via Hetzner in Europe.

8. International transfers

Based on the current setup described to us, waitlist data is stored in Europe. If, in the future, we use additional third-party services that involve data transfers outside the EU/EEA, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and implement the required safeguards where applicable.

9. Analytics and cookies

At the time of this version, PostHog analytics is not yet active.

If analytics tools such as PostHog are enabled in the future, this Privacy Policy and the website’s cookie disclosures will be updated to reflect the actual data practices in place at that time.

Where required by law, non-essential cookies or analytics technologies will only be used after the necessary consent has been obtained.

10. Retention

We keep waitlist data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We may keep your email address and related waitlist record until the Remeal launch communication process has been completed, or until the waitlist is no longer needed.

We may delete your data earlier if you request deletion.

Technical logs, backups, and related infrastructure data may be retained for reasonable operational, security, or recovery purposes.

11. Your rights

If applicable law, including the GDPR, applies to you, you may have the right to:

request access to your personal data;

request correction of inaccurate personal data;

request deletion of your personal data;

withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent;

object to certain processing based on legitimate interests;

lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

You can contact us at admin@remeal.ai to exercise your rights.

Based on the current setup, waitlist entries can be found and deleted manually from the database.

12. Age requirement

The Remeal waitlist is intended only for users aged 18 and over.

We do not knowingly collect waitlist signups from persons under the age of 18. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete that data.

13. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and unlawful processing.

However, no website or online infrastructure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.

The version published on the website at the relevant time will be the governing version.
